Sonic Generations and Shinobi CONFIRMED for 3DS!

Sonic Generations on 3DS:

The above image is the first thing we saw about the confirmed Sonic game. This picture was leaked onto the internet and you might also notice that Shinobi 3D is revealed there (but we'll get to that in a sec)!

We then got some screenshots and details about the game, and here they are (screenshots first):

aaaand now for the details:

Apparently the gameplay when playing as Classic Sonic is "very simplified and platform heavy"

And when playing as Modern Sonic the gameplay is more Sonic Rush style! And the American magazine have said that there are some 3DS exclusive features such as: 

Different stages

Less characters on the 3DS version

Challenges exclusive to the 3DS that can only be unlocked through StreetPass or Play Coins

Exclusive two player race mode over local wireless connection

Slightly different story

And for all you SEGA Mega Drive (or SEGA Genesis in America) fans like me, many old faces return from Sonic 3 and Sonic 2! Including DOCTOR ROBOTNIK IN HIS MEGA DRIVE FORM. YES! ROBOTNIK! NOT EGGMAN! Oh and the Big Arm boss from Sonic 3 is making a return! AND Casino Night Zone from Sonic 2!

Shinobi on 3DS:

This game was revealed in the same issue as Sonic Generations. But this one had a trailer ready, and here it is in all it's glory:

We haven't got much details yet other than it supports StreetPass. Although we're not sure yet how this is used. And there is EVEN BIGGER NEWS! A NEW hero! So this game probably isn't a direct sequel to other Shinobi games!
